what happened Mark's descriptions and references?

Description
Some descriptions and references that Mark entered into the questionnaire on behalf of the Met Office are missing.
The issue was investigated and logged on footprints query 38 but no satisfactory explanation was found.
The footprints query is now closed, this ticket is a place holder for further investigation.
