Description

Following the description of the validation sequence on Ticket #252 and the protocol established in Ticket #253, validation will be decomposed into two logically distinct operations...

(1) Schema validation
(2) Schematron validation

...both of which will be provided using Python with libXML.

This ticket serves as a point of reference for the first of these categories.
