Develop a tool to access THREDDS server with information about CMIP5 model output data and generate CIM compliant instances (preferably dataObjects) for publishing to the Metafor CIM instance service.

This can be used as command line tool or maybe later as CIM service at any place.

Implementation via a python program to read from THREDDS server and then to use the python lxml library to publish CIM documents, first attempt will be to the local file storage.

This work is ongoing but Hans has made significant progress. He also parses different THREDDS formats: cera; ensembles, cmip5 ...ETC.
