Description

The lists of fields coming from an IC file for GCM-A are very similar from a simulation to another. The differences between 2 IC files will be the date and probably a few fields. If the user has created the IC file 'file1' for simulation X , it will be easier/shorter for him to copy the 'file1' description and modified it to create a IC file 'file2' for simulation Y.

Or is there another way to do it?

You should be able to create the file once, and bind it to the input requirements of more than one simulation .... You can edit the files for all your simluations from the file menu, and then just bind them as necessary either in the coupling for hte model default, or the simulation, or both ...
