Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that BELIEF will publish the Zero-In eMagazine whose aim is to widely disseminate and bring to life the evolution of the e-Infrastructures for global virtual research communities and the benefits of adopting them. The call for articles is now open for the first issue (due in December 2008) and we welcome your contributions. Each issue of Zero-In will present a "thematic" section and a section featuring "insights from the global virtual research community". The thematic section of the first edition will focus on Distance Learning/Education? and training as an e-Infrastructures application, whilst the "insights" section will gather contribution on e-Science, e-Business, e-Society and e-Infrastructure, the last addressing underlying technology issues. Each edition will also present a regular column on the important issue of Standards.
