Description

We have at least two levels of CIM data creation processing:

  • automatic
  • by hand with the help of a GUI
  • other ...?

automatic processing:

  • with xsql/xsl from CERA meta database
  • exported with {cdo | ncdump | degrib | other tools} from data files (nc,grb,...)

output goes into ncml XML or other formats (like Java properties), must be converted into the CIM schema(-template)

(post-)processing by hand with a GUI:

  • one approach is to use the geonetwork package
  • validation inside geonetwork with schematron rules

every CIM-xml should be reviewed by hand with the help of a GUI
